Hay Salsaddicts,
About 4 years ago I walked through the Haarlemmerstraat in Leiden and I heard very cheerful salsa music. I saw they were giving a workshop at the Beestenmarkt. I thought: wow, cool! This is great! I want to learn this too!
I joined and the next day I registered at Dos Bailadores. I got addicted to the salsa virus and couldn’t be cured!! Whatever I did, I was practicing salsa. When I turned on the computer, I also turned on some salsa music, and practiced! Couches, chairs and tables aside and I enjoyed the dancing and the music.
As I got to level 4, I had lessons from Nen Michel. She polished up my dancing through which I could go on to level 5, 6 and 7. After that, 3 levels Salsa club. In the meanwhile we practiced a lot during the lessons and we concluded that we could dance well together. Now she has her own dance school and I may assist her!! Nen…..I wish you lots of success!!
Salsa dancing makes you cheer full. You are only in the now and nothing else is bothering you, accept enjoying!!!
