I started with salsa in 2000. At first, like everyone did, I started at salsAventura for my first steps in salsa. I wanted to go to Venezuela and wanted to know a little bit of salsa dancing. After level 4 and 1 year intermediate stop I went to Dos Bailadores, a salsa school in Leiden. Situated at the Middelste Gracht, at that time. The salsa techniques became elaborated and I even got lessons from Nen Michel who was an assistant at that time. She gave that extra attention by which the salsa changed in a passion.
In 2006 I decided to proceed and went back to SalsAventura to follow advanced lessons and especially a lot of standing in. I was so enthusiastic about for instance: Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Zouk and of course Merengue. By coincidence Nen asked me if I was interested in assisting salsa lessons in Wassenaar. After I thought shortly about it, I started in the beginning of 2008 to assist Nen Michel.
I also give workshop with Nen.
